DESCRIPTION:
Levi Hutchins, Concord, NH, 8 days, time and strike,, weight brass movement, New Hampshire mirror clock, c1815 This is the clock pictured in "New Hampshire Clocks & Clockmakers" by Charles S. Parsons, pg 212.
CONDITION:
Mahogany and grain painted case in an old finish with age cracks in the half round molding on the front of the case and a small repair to the left molding. The mirror is period and looks original. Original iron dial with some wear to the number and the signature. Hands are original. The case has lost one of the metal ornaments in the upper right corner. The dial glass is old and looks original, but is now fastened in the case with wood strips held in with modern nails. Ht 30 1/4"
